My love of photography began in my late teens at college when I was given the use of a Canon AE1 35mm film camera. As soon as I took my first roll, developed it ( yes I did that back then ) and saw the photos appear in front of me, I was hooked. What started as a hobby has grown and grown over the years to a passion that is now part of me.
While I love to photograph everything, and I have taken thousands of images in almost every genre. Over the years I have gravitated to wildlife and landscapes. There is something special about taking a camera and capturing the world, whether that is small birds and flowers in a garden or the awesome beauty of the Scottish Highlands.
